Meet little Joshua! We first met him at his ‘newborn’ session when he was 27 days new… very slightly older than our usual tiny clients… He was so well behaved for his photoshoot, and just loved being posed on his tummy, he was so comfortable and settled we had plenty of time to achieve some stunning images of this amazing little miracle baby. Because Joshua’s story is so much more than his beautiful photo’s suggest.
Tiny little Alicia had us totally bewitched. With her gorgeous dark hair and such sleepiness, she was a baby photographer’s dream! Her newborn session seemed short and sweet; for us, it was over all too soon with just a couple of breaks for a feed and cuddle with Mum! We even got a beautiful smile, she was obviously very happy to pose with dad’s baseball glove and give her parents a very special memento 🙂 xx
We were so looking forward to meeting baby Lucas. At just 9 days new, he was an absolute sweetheart. He obligingly slept for the early part of his session, allowing us plenty of time to enjoy taking his sleepy photos. He was so chilled and relaxed when he awoke that we also caught some of his cute expressions and little yawns! We had a lovely time with this gorgeous family, thank you so much to Lucas’ Mum and dad for making us feel so welcome in their home, their beautiful images are showcased below. xx
Our final newborn photo session of 2015 was a really special one….beautiful Emily Jane is my niece! She was 14 days new and absolutely scrumptious! After a sleepy start she made us work very hard to get the shots we were after…..she has a strong personality and makes her wishes known already! Our patience paid off in the end though, and we now have these soft and sleepy shots for the family album. In the blink of an eye I’m sure she’ll be crawling then running around, and as a family we will have these beautiful images to look back…
Lucy’s parents had seen some of our artwork on display in the Olive Tree at Brimstage Courtyard and had booked her newborn photoshoot with us months before she was born. And although Lucy was overdue she was so teeny tiny and just 7 days new when we finally got to meet her! Lucy was very sleepy for many of her photos, but very obligingly opened her eyes for some wide awake shots, which ended up being Mum & Dad’s favourite from the session! We were so pleased they loved our photos of their little one.
This beautiful little boy didn’t want to sleep! We waited and waited, enjoyed lots of cuddles, and got some beautiful wide-awake photos, and waited a bit longer…But they all give in eventually, plenty more cuddles and a few yawns later, he turned into a perfect little poser, and we were able to achieve those serene sleepy newborn photos everybody loves.
Double trouble? Or double sweetness! We had an amazing day with this pair of beautiful girls, getting double our usual baby cuddles. Aoife and Leia were both so sweet, and so totally identical that we really struggled to tell them apart. We were lucky to get some sleepy shots of them both together, as they had an uncanny ability to work together in tandem, taking turns to sleep and making sure they kept Mum and Dad on their toes:)
We couldn’t wait to meet Abby! We had already met her family during Mum’s maternity session several weeks earlier. It’s always a little bit extra special when we go back for the newborn session and meet the baby that just a few weeks previously we were calling Bump:)
Colin has the most amazingly beautiful eyes…but we didn’t get to see them until 3 weeks after these photos were taken when we returned to show Mum and Dad his gorgeous newborn shots! On the day of his shoot, at just 5 days new, he slept for the entire session. This handsome little boy was an absolute dream to take pictures of, and was just so scrumptiously cuddly!
