Guest Blog ~ All about C-Sections

Today, we are handing our blog over to Debbie from Misfit Mama’s… Hi there! And welcome to today’s blog post all about the “C” word… I personally avoided reading anything about Caesarean sections when pregnant with my first child 6 years ago, as I was convinced I would have a natural birth! (lucky for me that I did) but if I hadn’t, I’d have been clueless as to what was involved. (Perhaps that was my plan!) Importantly this information is really useful for your recovery, which is where I’m coming from here today…

    Kieran ~ 11 days

Gorgeous Kieran kept us waiting… and waiting… and waiting… Finally making a dramatic and very late entrance to the world at 2 weeks past his due date! But it was oh so worth the wait to meet him – he gave the most wonderful snuggly cuddles, being a very alert but happy and ‘chatty’ baby. He made us work very hard for those dreamy shots, but eventually settled into a lovely deep sleep for some beautiful photos.

    Ayla ~ 11 days

Oh my word…what a lovely sleepy little lady Ayla was 🙂 On a cold frosty morning, we were all snuggled up by the fire for gorgeous Ayla’s newborn session at her home near Chester. She loved being warm and cosy, so much so, she had made a very late and slightly dramatic appearance into the world, keeping her Mum and Dad waiting and waiting for beautiful baby cuddles! But now she is here and making up for her late arrival by being the most contented and relaxed little baby! Even her demands for milk were ever so quiet and polite,…

We were privileged recently, to spend the day with Holly and Adam documenting their beautiful Wedding. Childhood sweethearts, Holly and Adam’s style was classic and traditional, but lavished with attention to detail and surrounded by love. A personal and intimate marriage ceremony at beautiful St Josephs Church in Prenton, with their wedding reception held at The Doubletree Hilton in Chester. Their memorable day culminated with a stunning firework display. Congratulations Holly and Adam, wishing you much love and happiness ♥ Jacqui & Jo xxx

    Sophie ~ Newborn Session

Beautiful Sophie was just 9 days new when we arrived for her sleepy newborn photography session at her home on The Wirral. Sophie’s Mum had completed 2 terms during pregnancy with The Daisy Foundation, which had helped give her confidence with her choice of a planned home birth with the help of One-to-One Midwives. Sophie was such a happy and contented little baby, though she made us work hard to achieve these gorgeous sleepy shots! Wide awake but happy and relaxed for much of her session, she was fascinated by the camera lens, so we were also rewarded with some…

As our little business has grown and evolved in a way we neither expected or anticipated, we felt with Christmas coming up, it was a good time to treat ourselves to a shiny new website. One that better reflected both us (our personalities) and our brand, one which could showcase our work better to you, our lovely customers, and provide a much more interactive experience. And most importantly give our blog a much needed revamp, after all, this is where we showcase YOUR story, and YOUR images:)

We couldn’t wait to meet Abby! We had already met her family during Mum’s maternity session several weeks earlier. It’s always a little bit extra special when we go back for the newborn session and meet the baby that just a few weeks previously we were calling Bump:)
