It’s so exciting when you find out you are pregnant for the first time! Exciting…..and a little bewildering, as you start to think about how your life will change when this new little one arrives. As the big day gets closer and you start to think what preparations you need to make, here is our list of the top 20 things you should do to get ready for that momentous day!
Today we have opened up our page to a guest blog, beautifully written by one of our lovely clients. Rachel is a brand new Mama to gorgeous little Callum. One of the smiliest of all the newborn babies we have had the pleasure to work with! Their story is unique and heartwarming, raw and emotional. Rachel has been sharing their story on her own ‘The Little Puffin’ blog to raise awareness of Callum’s condition and has kindly agreed to share her journey with us here…
This dinky little baba was a sleepy superstar. Over three weeks early when he was born, Callum was as cute as a button and quiet as a mouse. His newborn photography session at his home on Wirral flowed seamlessly through our dreamy poses, when we moved him, he barely woke before snuggling into the next blanket for another snooze! He was so smiley too, we would love to know what he was dreaming about. ♥
With Father’s day just around the corner this weekend, this is a special post in honour of all the proud new Dad’s celebrating their first Father’s Day here in the UK. There is something infinitely heartwarming about these newborn pictures of tiny babies being cradled safely and securely in their Daddies arms. The contrast between the size and strength of these new Fathers compared to the gentleness with which they hold their beautiful newborn baby son or daughter makes for some stunning images. Happy Father’s day to all the amazing Dad’s out there! xxx
We first ‘met’ this beautiful baby girl while she was still a ‘bump’ for her mum’s outdoor maternity photoshoot, so it was so lovely to finally meet her properly. She was the sweetest sleepiest baby during her newborn photo session at her home in Liverpool, sharing sleepy hugs with our little cuddly baby bunny and snuggling down on our beanbag for some dreamy photographs. We loved every precious cuddle we shared with beautiful Aoife! ♥
Gorgeous little Sophie was such a sweetheart! We loved all the cuddles we shared with her during her newborn session. She was relaxed and comfortable in her cosy Wirral home on a raw winter’s day, and we took our time taking beautiful baby photos for her stunning newborn gallery. Just look at her little rosebud lips, we especially loved capturing all the tiny details and cute expressions for her family to treasure and remember these fleeting newborn days!
Beautiful Aneha is very lucky to have two simply gorgeous big sisters, Eisha, and Avani. Totally devoted to their new baby sister, they both loved taking turns to cuddle her for individual photos with this precious baby girl. Aneha, at only a few weeks old is already a determined little lady, and knew exactly how she wanted to get comfortable on our squishy beanbag for her sleepy newborn photos, resulting in some stunning natural images. Together, these beautiful sisters’ names mean ‘Beautiful’, ‘Earth’ and ‘True Love’ and we think they are truly fitting names for this lovely family. Thank you…
Tiny little Alicia had us totally bewitched. With her gorgeous dark hair and such sleepiness, she was a baby photographer’s dream! Her newborn session seemed short and sweet; for us, it was over all too soon with just a couple of breaks for a feed and cuddle with Mum! We even got a beautiful smile, she was obviously very happy to pose with dad’s baseball glove and give her parents a very special memento 🙂 xx
As our little business has grown and evolved in a way we neither expected or anticipated, we felt with Christmas coming up, it was a good time to treat ourselves to a shiny new website. One that better reflected both us (our personalities) and our brand, one which could showcase our work better to you, our lovely customers, and provide a much more interactive experience. And most importantly give our blog a much needed revamp, after all, this is where we showcase YOUR story, and YOUR images:)
Lucy’s parents had seen some of our artwork on display in the Olive Tree at Brimstage Courtyard and had booked her newborn photoshoot with us months before she was born. And although Lucy was overdue she was so teeny tiny and just 7 days new when we finally got to meet her! Lucy was very sleepy for many of her photos, but very obligingly opened her eyes for some wide awake shots, which ended up being Mum & Dad’s favourite from the session! We were so pleased they loved our photos of their little one.
