Our newborn sessions can last for up to 4 hours- because we work at baby’s pace. If baby needs a feed or a cuddle, we stop for exactly that. Our tiny clients have timescale all of their own and we work around their needs. While babies are being fed and soothed we have lots of time to chat to parents about the wonderful and amazing experience that is having a new baby. Over time from listening to our new Mums, we’ve been able to pull together a ‘must have’ list of baby essentials for new parents. So (apart from the…
I was so excited to hear the news when James was born… as I was also looking forward to seeing his beautiful big sister again. I had first met this lovely family when I captured Emily’s newborn portraits, so it was a real treat for me to catch up with them again, and see how much she had grown! James was a little superstar for his newborn session, and Emily was so happy to join in for some beautiful photos of them together. Because their Mum & Dad chose to have his newborn session at home, this helped James to…
They say all the best things come in small packages! Tiny Sophie is simply perfect. We just couldn’t get over her shock of gorgeous shiny dark hair. This beautiful baby girl was a sleepy superstar for her newborn photo session. In the comfort of her home on The Wirral, with the family dogs keeping a close eye on their precious new charge whilst they too snoozed, Sophie sweetly dreamed through most of the photos, waking up briefly to reward us with some wide awake shots of her big blue eyes. We love her beautiful gallery…♥
We loved meeting this little bundle, Jacob was a teeny tiny 5lb 6oz when he was born. He was a very determined little man, and at 4 weeks old, already knew exactly what he wanted – cuddles! He was just so cute, and really didn’t want us to put him down for his photos, he made us work very hard for those sleepy shots. But he gave in eventually, snuggling into some comfortable photos for us to capture this stunning newborn gallery for his Mum and dad. xx
Meet the winner of our recent maternity photoshoot competition! This is Karen, she was the lucky mum-to-be who won a maternity memory session with us, together with one of our signature ‘Baby I Love You’ frames for her favourite image from her session. Run in conjunction with One to One Midwives, West Cheshire, her shoot took place in July at their Pregnancy Advice Centre in Ellesmere Port.
Gorgeous Kieran kept us waiting… and waiting… and waiting… Finally making a dramatic and very late entrance to the world at 2 weeks past his due date! But it was oh so worth the wait to meet him – he gave the most wonderful snuggly cuddles, being a very alert but happy and ‘chatty’ baby. He made us work very hard for those dreamy shots, but eventually settled into a lovely deep sleep for some beautiful photos.
This dinky little baba was a sleepy superstar. Over three weeks early when he was born, Callum was as cute as a button and quiet as a mouse. His newborn photography session at his home on Wirral flowed seamlessly through our dreamy poses, when we moved him, he barely woke before snuggling into the next blanket for another snooze! He was so smiley too, we would love to know what he was dreaming about. ♥
Gorgeous little Sophie was such a sweetheart! We loved all the cuddles we shared with her during her newborn session. She was relaxed and comfortable in her cosy Wirral home on a raw winter’s day, and we took our time taking beautiful baby photos for her stunning newborn gallery. Just look at her little rosebud lips, we especially loved capturing all the tiny details and cute expressions for her family to treasure and remember these fleeting newborn days!
What if you could choose to have just one midwife to support you through your pregnancy journey? Would you? You’d see the same person at every ante-natal appointment with the option to have those appointments scheduled during the evening or weekends; choose for them to be at a dedicated pregnancy advice centre or even in the comfort of your own home rather than the GP’s surgery or a clinic? Sounds idyllic doesn’t it? And expensive? This was our expectation when we met with Laura and Melanie from One to One recently! But as it turns out, this is just a…
In those first few days at home with your brand new baby, everything changes and revolves around this new little life. When they go down for a nap, it is easy to feel like you need to turn off the TV and tiptoe round, talking in hushed voices for fear of waking them. In fact, the opposite is true – background noise helps them to sleep!
Whether you love the traditional or prefer something a bit more unique, choosing a name for your beautiful tiny baby merits some thought and a little research – in the hope that as they grow up, they will love their name as much as you do! So how do you go about choosing a name?
This gorgeous baby girl’s name means ‘beloved child’. It originates in Japan where her Mum and Dad went on their honeymoon, and it is such a fitting and beautiful name for this little newborn. A tiny 6lb 5oz when she was born, Aiko has a huge personality already and was wide awake and so interested in our camera! She made us work hard to achieve some classic sleepy baby photographs, but it was oh so worth it, as she rewarded us with this stunning gallery, and some beautiful smiles! ♥
